Big Mistake!!

I bought myself an Apple Laptop computer, I hate it. I can't transfer over all my files, I don't like the screen or any other feature.
I'm going to get a new desktop.
But I have a big problem with my Telstra email account (where my apple id is stored) and they will not talk to me about it because THEY have listed the account in my husband's name, even though we listed it in both our names, they changed it to just his name. As his wife I have no access even though I pay all the bills and he has memory loss!!!!
I am so frustrated and angry at the whole affair.
Talking to other women, who also have the same problem with Telstra, I have been told I have to ring them, with my husband standing beside me, who will tell them that I am his wife and they will address my questions. How out of date is that?

I got so upset with all the tech!!! Now my so has sat me down and helped sort it out and I am feeling a bit better. Still some way to go but I am getting there.

I sympathise ! I have slowly got in touch with all the billmakers ie energy companies, phone account, medicare, health fund etc etc and phone them one by one to ask what will happen when the person in whose name the account is, dies. In many cases, they just need advice on a secondary person to the account, and I have done this ahead of time. It seems they are only "allowed" to have one name . It is something to be aware of !
