Some more thinking about projects

Whilst on my stitchie weekend one of the ladies was piecing the blocks for a quilt in batik fabrics.  The pattern is in a craft magazine and is something that I would love to make.

 

The problem is I am not making it for any special reason other than I want to do it.  That sounds very indulgent to me.  Maybe I should just indulge myself.  I need to go through  my stash and see what I have first.  The fabric is on special at my fabric shop at the moment.  

I think that I may or may-not indulge this temptation.  I also found that I have run down my supply of Rasant threads in basic colours.  I am down to one reel each of white, cream, grey and black.  I bought boxes of them in a sale years ago.  I never thought I would use them all but I have.
