I admit defeat

Home again and back to hospital, again!

The good news is I can see.

This operation was very painful because of the complications with my sinus problem.   So they want me back in again today for another look at them whilst they are bad.  I keep telling myself, "this too will pass".  All that sewing I want to do is just expanding at a greater rate than I can cope with.

I was having a look at the old crochet hook that I have been using, it belonged to my grandmother but keeps on working.  It is a very fine hook, labelled 7 1/2.  I don't think they make them that fine anymore?  I can't find it on any conversion chart so I better look after it.  And I can see the stitches.  Yoo Hoo.

I will put a tutorial up when I have recovered of how I made the decorations.

Wishing you a speedy recovery, and lots of happy sewing in the future.

It’s that quilting that is banking up.

Hope the pain goes soon.

I know my mother has done crochet with sewing thread, using her finest hook. I think the fashion these days is for bigger and bigger hooks!
