A lttle bird

Boy am I banking up the future projects since I broke this arm.  This design is to be stiched for a kiss-frame purse, although it could be used as a motive on any thing.  To that end I have drawn it in three different sizes.  When I am better I will experiment with different stitches.  First will be long and short stitch.

These are the fowers that grow on my back fence, "Black-eyed Susans".  I only had a cheap packet of coloured pencils with limited colours to shade this, but I'm sure I can get better shading when I use threads.

Now that I have no access to the drawing program I am going to have to revert to pencil and paper.  I'm going to have to learn all over again.

It looks lovely and will make a charming embroidery.

Oh arm heal quicker so I can stitch again. I must say I’m a bit worried about the healing it is still very painful. Still the one handed typing is improving.
