Another block finished.  This time I have used a motive that features in many Kogin patterns.  I have taken it out of it's usual diamond shape and used it as a repeat pattern.  These four blocks surrounding the central block are all Eastern motives.

These repeat patterns are so impressive, but I know I would have a hard time counting holes. Well done, Carolyn, for taking the kogin pattern out of its 'box'.
