This is the last of this set of patterns. This pattern features in clothing and can look very striking. I have altered it a little but I just can't tell what the pattern will look like until I have stitched it out because the materials and scale are so different. I thought it would have been a denser.
Still it isn't too bad.
Now onto the Western patterns in the next four blocks.

And all because of a new book by Duran Publishing about embroidered clothing from Norway. The book is called 'Broderte Bunader' (Embroidered Bunads a hundred years of bundad history), and will be released next month. (2nd May 2014)
The pages they have released on their web page are just so tempting. Some great embroidery designs,
even some examples of Blackwork.
They do have some of their books translated into English for the American market I hope they follow this one up with a translation.
