Hishizashi Patterns
No 161 - 168
These are a group of small patterns that I had discounted because of their size. They are quick and easy to stitch.

(I apologise for the penciled in correction on the PDF of the patterns. I will replace this when I can access the computer where the pattern is stored.)
These patterns are fantastic; just a small change and you've got a new one. No wonder 900 or more patterns can be created on the larger scaled patterns.

It is amazing what happens once you find the source documents. There are so many patterns here.
I know that the tsunami had a devastating effect on those east coast communities where these patterns originate. But even before this there wasn’t all lot of activity in this region, especially in comparison to the centres in the inland. There must be other cultural reasons why this is so.
