Going home

I am off on a jet plane today to  Sydney.  I'm going home for a week.  Funny how the place were we grew up is called home.  I have lived in Brisbane for over 20 years now but home is still that place where I grew up with my parents. In this picture my sister was 12 years old and I was 16 years, squinting in the bright sunlight. Now we are both turning grey.

I am looking forward to spending time with my sister, going to the Sydney Quilt Show and catching up with relatives.  I'm not sure what internet access I will have, other than Macca's, so have put up a series of tutorials on zippers until I get back.
