TAST 2013 - Triangular Feather Stitch

Believe it on not underneath all that stitching is Triangular Feather Stitch.

I thought the stitch looked rather botanical and decided to stitch it 'hanging  down'.  The single line on the side didn't make a heavy enough border so it stitched another line up close to this, then added a variation of 'coral knots' for the flowers.  Still looked a bit bare so I added a fly stitch at the base of each flower to tie it to the feather stitch.  The the top of the stitch didn't match so I stitched detached chain stitch and a bead.  I thought I might add a bit more to the flowers but I unpicked that, not good at all.
