It is the Melbourne Cup next week and it is making me think about getting involved in some form of sport again. I have always been very active. All that has changed since I developed this terrible growth in my knee and then broke my foot badly. But I would like to return to some sort of sporting activity again. But what can I do?
Walking in the park the other day I noticed that the local Croquet club gives classes to attract new members.
Maybe I will give it a try. Everything else just puts too much strain on my knee.

I'm told that croquet looks very tame but can be frighteningly vicious and competitive once you get into it....
