I have opened all the windows and shut off the back of the house. I hope I can sleep. Dream of roses. Think of all those other sweet smelling flowers. They told me it will take about 5 days to clear the smell. Why didn't I take a holiday?

The smell of glue, paint or varnish can be a real challenge. If you do fall asleep, be prepared to wake up with a splitting headache. That is what I did when we had renovations done to our home. Oh, if they could invent products with floral fragrance, roses, lavender, lily of the valley...
Can you volunteer as an overnight baby sitter?

Maybe you'll get used to it and not smell it tomorrow?

The smell is slowly going away. Thank Goodness. Good excuse to go shopping.

The smell is starting to dissipate and we have a big heavy door between the bedrooms and that part of the house.
I have been babysitting all day. I think I will put up with the smell.

Good to know that you are coping, after all. The smells are one of the unmentioned hazards of renovation - everyone tells you about the physical upheaval, but they never warn you of the nasal upheaval!
