That is my house at the moment. My husband decided, after 20 years of asking, to do some renovations. He told me the night before the workmen arrived that I would have to move my sewing materials stash cupboard and my fabric printing store cupboard. These sat either side of the proposed door way from the dining room into the kitchen. Now everything is piled in my sewing room and I can't find a thing. I had to go and buy a new rotory cutter the other one is buried somewhere.

I think your DH must be related to mine, only difference is mine does the jobs himself.

They are related, Im sure. This is the first time he has got someone in to help. He has been putting in long hours himself.
All Im interested in is getting the floors polished. He ripped up the carpets willy nilly.
