I must have been walking around with my eyes shut. All my local shops seem to have had a makeover and I didn't even notice.
The Florist has a wonderful window display of curtain lace in embroidery hoops.
The Cafe has done a complete revamp, very retro.
I love those little fern in the tea cups and the birdcages.
Even a hand painted bar.
The supermarket had kale in the flower section.
It is the middle of winter here and not warm but here come the summer fashions with embroidery trims.
Thank goodness I had my iphone with me or I wouldn't have been able to share these.
The lace displays work really well, don't they!

Yes, I thought so. They managed to pick pieces of lace that had flowers on them. I thought that this might look nice, in a smaller version, hanging in a window at home.
