Upstairs at the Embroidery Exhibition was a showing of some of the Guild Collection. Most of the time this is stored away so when some pieces come out for show it is always 'make sure you have a look'. Here I was able to take photos and it is looking back at these that I am able to draw inspiration. There was so much to take in so I will spread the images over a couple of days.

It is a huge collection. I think the one at the UK Embroiderers Guild would be even bigger.

I think so. There's also the WI (Women's Institute) which has a huge collection, of which I saw a very small part at a show once..
