I came across this blog post at One Flew Over showing this wonderful display of crocheted pot holders on display at Calico & Ivy in Sydney.
I just love them. I can see this is something I am going to have to try.

A great idea - you can make them as simple or as complicated as you like, and use up odds and ends of wool while you are at it...!
