Yes, today was the day. I placed an order for a new car and will take delivery next week. It is going to be sad to part with my old car but it is turning 12 years old and the cost of repairs will be more than I can sell it for. So Daisy is on the way out. I will drive the new car for a few weeks before it tells me it's gender and name.

It's always a wrench when you've had a car long enough for it to be part of the family. It took us ages to get used to looking for a sky-blue Panda instead of a maroon Corsa!

Yes, it took me ages to choose the car and now I have to wait until next week for it to be delivered. Then there will be the problem of finding it at the supermarket!

What’s the name of your new car? A car running for 12 years must’ve been through a lot. Good thing you thought about giving your old car a rest. Btw, where did you buy your new car?
