I should be sewing, but I'm reading. These books open that door at the back of the wardrobe into another world. Pure fantasy but I love it. Robin Hobb is such a good writer that you believe that everyone of the impossible things she writes about is true.
If you decide to read these books this is book 1
I am up to the last chapters of the "Tawney Man Trilogy" and I don't want it to end.
Back to the book.

I started with The Live Ship Trilogy (years ago), then The Farseer Trilogy, then the Tawny Man trilogy--loved them all! Even the suspense of waiting for the next book.
I've just finished 3 books in the Rain Wild Chronicles, and was exasperated to learn that it wasn't a trilogy...I've been left hanging.
My favorite is the Farseer Trilogy that you have now...I've even re-read it once and enjoyed it as much as the first time.

Oops. Just noticed that you are finishing Tawney Man.
I came here to view your lovely stitching, but find one of my favorite authors as well.

Yes, I cant stop reading them either. I also started with the Live Ship Trilogy, then the Farseer books. I Couldnt get the Tawny Man books at first so went onto the Dragon books, I think that is the Rain Wild books and now have finished the Tawny Man set. Now I have started on the Soldier Son Books. I have loved every one.

I see she has a new book published this year called City of Dragons, the waiting list at the library has me at 71st position.
