Autumn must be here because my world is turning yellow. Yellow flowers that is.
I have two large rain trees in the front garden, well one rain tree and it's off spring. This time of year it literally rains flowers. As soon as I clear the bird bath it is full again.
Every plant in the garden is coated with flowers.
Drifts of flowers build up on the paths and are brought into the house on shoes and dog feet.
These flowers are so small and catch on everything. You sweep them and the bottom of the broom is encrusted with flowers.
When you look closely they are actually very pretty . It is just the mess they make that I don't like.
Oh well a couple more weeks to go and then we will have all the seeds to contend with.
So in this house, autumn means yellow.

Whereas here, Spring quite often means yellow - daffodils, in particular...

Well we do live on the upside down part of the world.
