Oh, dear, Carolyn, you have my sympathy and I feel for you. I did it the other way around, had a suspected cracked bone in my left wrist after going backwards and downwards when I attempted to slam a sticking door shut and the handle came off in my hand ( and yes, I am left handed!)THEN, as that got better the kid with the PPlate decided to change a CD in his ute and backended me when I was parked off the road answering the mobile! Luckily, the car was still running and in drive, so I just flew down the road, hit no-one and only had an aching back for a couple of days. He took my drivers side back wheel right off and wrote off my car:( So I was very lucky.

It is all very frustrating:(((

Merry Christmas and here's hoping things improve for 2012!

Hi Mary

Its been a bad year for falls. Had a major fall in NZ and ended up with a gangrene hernia that ruptured and I have been super careful since then. We had a week down at ORiellys and I was very careful walking. This time I slipped on the drive after cleaning up someones extra Xmas Cheer that had left there. I had to send my husband to clean up the broken glass . Roll on 2012.

Rachel

I hope 2012 goes a whole lot better for you!

Looks like I will start it wrapped in plaster.
