This weekend saw the Finders Keepers Markets being held at the old Museum building in Brisbane. This building always reminds me of a Turkish and north African building but it sits beside the railway line on one side a highway at the front a secondary road on the other and backs on to the exhibition grounds where the Royal Agricultural Society holds their exhibition.
There wasn't a lot of advertising of the event but word had spread and the place was packed.
I didn't go to buy but to look at trends and designs. There were two print artists that I loved. I just couldn't not buy a pack of these card by Courtney Brims.
She also has a very cool web page where you can buy her work on line.
The other artists who's work I liked is here from the USA with her husband (who works at UQ, and they have an interesting blog ) her name is Renee Treml.
I just love her little birds, and the wombats aren't bad either.
